Das Europäische Zentrum für die Förderung der Berufsbildung (Cedefop) ist das Referenzzentrum der Europäischen Union in Fragen der Berufsbildung. Wir liefern Informationen und Analysen zu den Berufsbildungssystemen und der Politik, Forschung und Praxis in diesem Bereich. Durch unsere Informationen, Forschung und Verbreitungsaktivitäten unterstützen wir Berufsbildungsfachleute, um die Berufsbildung in Europa weiterzuentwickeln und zu verbessern. Das Cedefop wurde 1975 durch die Verordnung (EWG) Nr. 337/75 des Rates gegründet.

EU call for proposals for 2011 (EAC/49/10) for the EU's Lifelong Learning Programme has just been launched. Both citizens and organisations in the field of school and higher education, vocational training and adult learning can now apply again for the numerous activities supported by the programme, which includes the Comenius, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci and Grundtvig sub-programmes, Transversal Programme with its activites for policy cooperation,languages, ICT and dissemination, as well as Jean Monnet Programme.
