The International Handbook of Vocational Education and Training (IHBB) has celebrated its 25th anniversary. The editors marked the occasion by presenting a new collected volume to around 50 invited guests and also took the opportunity to look back at the history of this series of BIBB publications.
The ReferNet network celebrated 20 years of successful cooperation on 9 November. During the annual meeting, the partners discussed the 2023 work plan with Cedefop experts and developed scenarios for the future development of the network.

More than 30 internationally renowned VET researchers met at the Federal Institute for VET (BIBB) on 8-9 September 2022 for the workshop 'Future of VET in Europe: Pathways to vocational excellence'. The event was held in cooperation between BIBB, Cedefop and 3s business consulting.
The EU Commission has recently published Calls for Evidence with the objective of gathering input for new policies and to ensure they best meet stakeholders’ needs. Feedback on two upcoming Council Recommendations proposals on digital education and skills can be provided until 16 September 2022.
