European Network of Expertise on VET
ReferNet was set up by Cedefop in 2002. In the 29 teams (EU plus Norway and Iceland), experts not only provide information on the national VET system, they also act as a broker of information on VET across Europe through the network.

ReferNet was set up in 2002 by Cedefop (European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training). It is a European information network in the field of vocational education and training.
It aims to meet the growing demand for comparable information on VET in the EU, which emerges from the increasing mobility in the education and labour market. In response, the partners’ reports form a common basis.
In addition, the network is part of the European process of reporting progress on the development of VET systems in Europe.
